Long Distance Boxing Drills to Practice at Home

Hey guys! In this video I will go over one of my favorite Attack-Defense sequences. We will attack with the 1-1-2, defend the 1-1-2 and counterstrike with the 2--3-2. The 1-1-2 is one of the most efficient attacks in boxing. It works like a cup of coffee. I've seen PRO's struggling to defend against it. Being so efficient means, you will get attacked with it a lot, so we have to practice defending against it all the time. Here's the drill: From guard open with a 1 (stepping forward with the jab - stepping right back is what I like to do) or with a feint. Attack with the 1-1-2 and go under the 3. To defend the 1-1-2, you will take a step back to defend the first jab, parry the second jab, catch the 2, counterstrike with the 2-3-2 and go under the 3. You can add this drill to your current boxing workout and easily do a round or two. You can and you should practice this drill every day.
