One of the best videos in turns of steam against the gradient and noise level ever. The noise of a Castle slogging up a gradient will always be loud. I decided to head to Torre due to a steep gradient out of Torquay which as steep as 1 in 55 up to Torre Station and was worth going to in the end. She can be heard leaving Torquay behind as she powers up the bank and then the heavy gradient took advantage of the Castle. Happily, she got up to Torre station but by then was at walking pace and had another climb to tackle after passing through up to Newton Abbot. She was running about 5 mins late at the point she reached the station. Hope you enjoyed this video.
