It was my turn and I went to Luxembourg (and took my girlfriend with me) and I… Checked my bucket list item of exploring a country in a day - Luxembourg is tiny. Created a memorable moment when I was topless in a bus shelter while it rained (get to the end to read the full story). Saw the most amazing scenery - Luxembourg deserves to be called the green heart of Europe. Experienced trying to use my limited french to order a gin and tonic and a beer. Had an amazing time with my girlfriend because it's a quiet place, we could just spend time walking and being together. Learnt that the people of the city are super friendly. Ate ‘Pot au feu’ - a winter stew dish. French in origin, but the slow cooked beef literally fell apart (delish!). I recommend anyone going to the same destination to visit the Vianden Castle, take advantage of the cheap public transport (€4 for transport anywhere all day), and walk to Grund through the huge park under the Pont Adolphe. At BRB we believe that the best memories are made when you allow yourself to do the things you've always wanted to do, conquer your fears, enjoy the moment, travel to places you've never been, and when you allow yourself to live. I told her I didn't have anything underneath my sweater, but that she could have it if she really wanted to. She said ok, took my sweater, left me topless, and didn't wear it anyway. She loves me a little more now though so it was worth it.
