With raining on Day 1, we basically had two full days to enjoy the resort. We wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel is not close to the beach, marina, or Altos de Chavón; these require a golf cart ride. Be sure to bring everything you need before leaving your room. Additionally, the all-inclusive style at this resort is different from what we normally experience. There are price lists for food and drinks, and we can’t just leave the table when we finish; we need to sign the check and close the bill. *We were charged under "servibar," probably by mistake, because we ordered a Coke at the restaurant and brought the rest of the bottle to our room. The housekeeper might have thought it was from the fridge. We sent an email to the hotel to follow up and are waiting for a reply. **Updated: They replied 2 days after I sent the email with sincerely apology. The charge was a can of beer which we did not consume, they will reimburse the amount and will take 5-10 business days of process.
