Dr Chris Burwell from the Queensland Museum presents the Insect Agency Exhibition and the incredible Giant Bull Ant nest casting by Australian Ant Art™. This is our heaviest Bull ant nest casting to date taking between 115 and 120 kg of aluminum underground with dimensions of 1.60 x 1.10 x 0.76 m (L x W x H). Myrmecia brevinoda is one of the largest ants in Australia, with workers able to be more that 30 mm in length and the queen over 40 mm.
