...........DIY WIDE PLANK FLOORS.......... ◾️PRE-RELEASE PRICING ....$3 SQ FT FACTORY PICK UP PRICE ....$4 SQ FT W NATIONWIDE SHIPPING ABOUT OUR FLOORING ◾️our flooring is made from locally sourced lumber. ◾️real solid wood. not pressboard, not vinyl, just good old-fashioned lumber. ◾️Cut by independent mills throughout the Adirondacks and New England. ◾️it's milled with a tounge and groove at 11" wide for easy install and is a full 3/4" think. ◾️random boards up to 8ft long & always 11" wide ◾️don't worry about cupping or twisting. it's all kiln dried YOU CANT HURT IT ◾️you will distress it with rocks, hammers, and chains ◾️the more you do, the more it looks like antique floor boards. ◾️Drag furniture across it, trample it, let the pets loose, whatever. ◾️this is the same board used to make board and batten siding. ◾️It's great to use on porches, ceilings, bathrooms, mudrooms, & laundry rooms ◾️In addition to siding, we have customers who built fences with it. ◾️So if it can stand up to harsh adirondack winters and brutal summers, it can take the kids in the tub. ◾️most of our customers have pets. I have a 15 year old yorkie who has many accidents in the house. It's so easy to clean up with swiffer or mop. ◾️if its scratched to the bare wood, it will easily touch up with your stain Step 1 INSTALL ◾️you can install it with nails, screws, wooden, pegs, staples, flooring nails, or even antique square nails. most customers use the face staple method Step 2 DISTRESS ◾️Use rocks hammers, chains, or other tools to beat up your floor. The more you do, thr better it looks Step 3 STAINING ◾️we recommend useing MINWAX POLYSHADES IN GLOSS and apply 2 coats. We like to use a different color stain for the 2nd coat for a custom look Step 4 POLYURETHANE ◾️Again, we recommend 2 coats of MINWAX FLOOR POLY, but you can use your favorite brand.
