Vintage & classic cars on the 2024 Generations Rally are the subject of this video, featuring the three stages held at Oulton Park during this event's three days of running. The spectacular variety of cars taking part in the Generations Rally 2024 (organised by Rally The Globe) was incredible, from vintage cars of the 1920s (eg Bentley, Invicta, Frazer Nash, Alfa Romeo 1750 etc) through some incredible cars built in the 1950s and 1960s, with the latest cars being from the early 1980s. I never thought I'd see two Range Rover classics for examples taking part in a historic car rally, or a mighty Citroen CX estate. Various Aston Martins (DB5) were also out having fun, as were entries such as a Morris Ital, straight eight 1930s Triumph, Ford V8s saloons from the same decade, Triumph TR4s, Volvo Amazons, Minis, Jaguar Mk1, Lancia Aurelia, Lotus Elan, Austin 7, MGB and MGC GT, and Porsche 911/912 .. in all around 100 cars were entered for the 2024 Generations Rally and it was amazing to see and hear them in action. This wasn't the easiest of videos to put together, the strong wind accompanied by various noisy portable generators running nearby, and the near-constant racket of racing motorcycles out on the main Oulton Park circuit, made recording these clips very challenging at times.
