Garden Patio Makeover | Cottage Style Garden | Small Outdoor Space Transformation | Yard Makeover In this video I’m showing you a makeover of my outside space. I live in a terraced house so my outside space is very limited but hopefully it will give you some ideas on what you can do if you have a smaller yard or even just to transform your patio area as part of a larger garden. This has been done on a budget trying to reuse as many things as possible that I already had. I was able to co-ordinate everything by using a Ronseal Garden paint to paint my wood furniture and planters and also a mixture of pots. I have purchased budget plants which are really easy to grow and look after. It's so easy to spend a fortune on plants but I think this video shows how that isn't necessary to create a relaxing outdoor space. The garden is North facing so it only gets the sun for a couple of hours towards the end of the day. I also have a large outhouse that takes up a lot of space and blocks out some light. I had painted the outhouse has year with white masonry paint so just needed to do a bit of touching up this time around. I cleaned and repainted my pots/ planters before planting up. I placed pots in places where they would get the most light to give my plants the best opportunity to flourish. In the more shaded areas I have placed plants that prefer shaded areas (Hosta’s & Ivy).
