Cab Ride on the RBMN NRFF 7-12-24

On July 12th I got offered a cab ride on the RBMN Flag ship train that traverses the entire main line from North Reading to Pittston. My friend offered the ride up and I wasn't about to say no! I was in no way affiliated with the train crew other then I was friends with them. This had been on my list of things to do for quite some time and it was an absolutely beautiful day for it. After signing the railroads release waivers it was off to the train. While the train wasn't huge in either direction it was still enough to put the SD40-2 and SD50-2 to work going up and down the hills traversed over while running the RBMN Main line. For power we had a SD50-2 # 5020 leading for the trip north and a Snoot nose SD40-2 # 3056 leading for the southbound trip. The 3056 wears a beautiful Leslie RS5T and the engineer let it sing on the south bound trip as we traversed back down the mountain to Reading. I hope you enjoy and thanks for watching!
