Must-Visit Wang Lang Market in Bangkok, Thailand 🇹🇭

I indulged in a variety of delicious street food snacks at the hidden Wang Lang Market, a local gem that many tourists seem to miss. Unlike the busier, touristy spots, this market had a much more authentic, local vibe with hardly any tourists around. The atmosphere felt more relaxed, and because it caters mainly to locals, the prices were unbelievably affordable. I was pleasantly surprised to find such cheap and amazing street food in Bangkok, Thailand—it felt like a true local experience! This place was surely on of the nicest markets that I have visited in Bangkok, Thailand. It kinda reminded me of Chinatown a bit too, but i'd say prices were a bit better and it was less touristy compared to Chinatown. My journey started from Saphan Taksin BTS station, from there I headed to Sathorn Pier to hop on a boat to Prannok Pier, as soon as you get out from Prannok Pier you will see Wang Lang market, it will be hard to miss. Boat will pass many Iconic spots, like Icon Siam and Wat Arun Temple and many more. It might be smart to go few temples first and finish your day at Wang Lang Market to eat some lovely street food. First snack I had was really nice and only cost 20 baht(0.60$ USD), I'm not quite sure what it's called, but it was covered with really nice spices and it was a bit crunchy outside and that sauce she gave me was perfect for that snack. I also got some longan drink for 25 baht (0.76$ USD) such a good value. I found a restaurant where I asked staff If I could enjoy my street food there and they kindly said yes. That place had amazing views on the Chao Phraya River, I usually just call it Bangkok river.. :D After that I went found a lovely lady selling Thai Pandan buns and oh boy how tasty it was. Warm/hot bun and cold Pandan cream inside, that one was so yummy and I loved temperature contrast. I flushed that down with my left over water from 7/11. After that I found some really lovely local family business selling coconut balls for only 30 baht for 8 of them..that's under one dollar, what a value. I also noticed man selling natural juice next to me, it was surely a bit pricey, but it also seemed high quality so I decided to go for beetroot and apple juice for 35 baht, that's about 1$ dollar. After all of that I felt a bit full, so I decided to take it light and enjoy some refreshing fruits. Snake Fruit and pineapple, I surely missed Snake fruit it was very unique flavor. Pine apple was also good like it is most times in Thailand. 📍Saphan Taksin 📍Sathorn Pier 📍Icon Siam 📍Prannok Pier 📍Wang Lang Market 👍 Help the channel grow by liking, commenting, and subscribing.
