Companies dispatched for a fire in the area which was quickly corrected to the Saint Francis School at 112 Saxer Ave. E44 made the 3 block response and reported a school with heavy fire 2nd floor. Command quickly requested a 2nd alarm. Crews initially made an interior attack as a janitor was reported missing. With fire through the roof and collapses the evac order was given. The 2nd floor burned as multiple elevated master streams and handlines worked exterior. Multiple units over the 2nd were called for water supply, elevated master stream and ember patrol.
