Kathiyawadi dal is the perfect combination to go with either Rice or roti. This recipe is widely made in most of Gujarati lunch/dinner. Ingredient 1 cup boiled Toor dal (Split Pigeon peas) 1/3 cup Peanuts 1 tsp Desi Ghee 1 tbsp Oil 1 tsp Mustard seeds 1 tsp Cumin seeds 1/4 tsp Asafetida 5 to 7 curry leaves 2 Dry Red Chili Cinnamon Stick 2 to 3 Cloves 1 Star Anise 2 to 3 Green Hot Chili 1 tsp Grated Ginger 1 cup chopped Wine Tomato (Sour tomato recommended) 1.5 tsp Turmeric Powder 2 tsp Coriander-Cumin Powder 1 tsp Red Chili Powder 1/4 tsp Garam Masala (as per preference ) 1/4 tsp Aachar Masala (do give it a try to add this after it boiled) 2 cubes / 2 tbsp Jaggery (Sugar can be used as well) 1/4 cup chopped cilantro/coriander leaves 1.5 tbsp Lemon/Lime Juice #foodie #gujaratirecipe #homemade #howto #kathiyawadirasoi #kathiyawadi_style #gujaratidal #gujaraticooking #vegetarianrecipes #vegetarianfood #vegetariancooking #kathiyawadidal #kathiyawadi_food_channel #lentilcurry #lentilsrecipe
