We recover our Socata TB10, G-IANC from Thruxton where it has been parked since July awaiting a new exhaust system. This is short VFR flight, but we are very careful to check everything on the aircraft thoroughly. The biggest threat identified was the possibility of fire, so we ensure the extinguisher is to hand and brief the engine fire drills before departing. Aircraft: Socata TB10 manufactured in 1980 which has recently been updated with the following avionics suite. Dual Garmin GI275, Garmin GPS175 Navigator, Garmin GNC 255 Com/Nav radio.
