The Call Blitz of 2012 was one of the most catastrophic operations in Technology Sales history. Precipitated by missing quarterly projections, the Blitz was designed to help reps build pipeline in the hopes they could close more revenue. Leadership felt that by cracking the whip they could 'help' the reps 'help themselves.' Ultimately, a poorly timed power outage knocked out the phones and internet. Only 8 total calls were made between 56 reps.
