A Day of Tri-Rail Railfanning at Metrorail Transfer Station FT: Lots Of Horn Action, CSX & More!

Hey Everyone! On Tuesday, July 9th I took a day trip to Miami from Orlando to check out & railfan Tri-Rail, which is South Florida's Commuter Railroad. I decided to railfan at Metrorail Transfer Station since I could take the Tri-Rail shuttle train straight to there from MiamiCentral Station once I got off the Brightline & just in case a Tri-Rail shuttle train got canceled I could take the Metrorail. I also picked Metrorail Transfer since I would catch the most amount of trains there as there are the trains that run the full route, MiamiCentral Shuttle trains, & deadheads to/from Hialeah Yard + the possibility of CSX. Anyways, I was there from roughly 12PM-5:05PM. And I was hoping to catch at least one of every type of rolling stock Tri-Rail currently has in service. I was in luck as I ended up achieving that goal & I even caught a CSX light engine move coming out of Hialeah Yard. And I got a lot of horn action due to the crossing there. Overall, it was a great day except for the part when someone tried to rob me at MiamiCentral Station. Because of that incident & the fact Metrorail Transfer station isn't in the best of areas, I decided not to use my camera even though I had it with me.
