Legal Services Authority Act was passed in 1987 by the Indian Parliament with a view to provide free legal services to the needy people. National Legal services authority is functioning in national level. In state level, state legal services authority and in district level, district legal services authority were constituted. In each Taluk, Taluk legal services committee also functioning. In addition to the above, in Supreme Court and in all High Courts, legal services committees are functioning.You can approach all these authorities for getting free legal services.
