Royal Gorge June 2020. Class 3-5 rapids throughout the trip and we had a blast!! The water level was a bit high so rapids were smoother and calm. The water in the Royal Gorge is mostly produced from snowmelt during the spring and late summer months. They say in the later months of the summer, the water level is lower, more active and extremely challenging. I will have to check it out! I wasn't able to catch the first couple of rapids in order to save battery life. I missed a few of the beginning rapids (mainly Rainbow Falls) in this video. Hopefully next trip I will get them! It was our first time rafting and the experience was a great one! We booked our trip with Performance Tours Rafting and I highly recommend them (I will be using them again soon)!!
