Creek hiking is something I wish to do for more than a decade but I do not dare to do it alone. The initial plan was to walk in Zion National Park, Utah. However, I canceled it due to the extended heat wave. I drove past West Fork Oak Creek a few times before, and decided to google it. Did a simple homework and well, let's give it a try... This place is AWESOME!! Red Rock is so red, creek water is just nice, I saw so many beautiful flowers, trees and cute animals. Unfortunately, I dared not wade the last 0.25 miles in the creek because I saw the water level at a muscle man's knee height. It rained the night before, meaning there was a lot of water and under current. Oh no no no, I don't want to start an emergency case here. Well, many thanks to my beloved family and friends who encouraged and supported me throughout the hike. I DID IT!! Yippie!!
