It's the sad end of an era today! Seattle's "Epic Antique" is no more, and neither is my antique/vintage dealer space. It's the last day of business, and we show what remains, and what we have to find a new home. What to do and where to go when things change in the antique and vintage landscape? Fortunately for me, Epic's merger into Lander Street Vintage found space for me...the very last space in the mall! Can a far-back location in an odd shape become a killer antique and vintage selling space? We've just seen the space for the first time, so how will we set it up in such a big hurry? With more questions than answers, we mix a bunch of fresh vintage with what we moved from 5 blocks away...and it somehow speaks to us! The display seems to fall together naturally in just a few half-days time, and sales are great right away. Sometimes, a forced change leads to great results! We get to see a bunch of the rest of Lander Street Vintage during our moves down the aisles, and why it's such a great vintage and modernism destination! Art, phones, art glass, Navajo jewelry, designer modern furniture...and we're not even trying.
