In May some of the world’s most famous classic schooners gathered in Capri to compete in the inaugural regatta of the International Schooner Association (“ISA”) together with the first round of the Schooner Cup Series, a regatta championship reserved for classic schooners also organised by the ISA. Watched over by Mount Vesuvius, the yachts came head to head in one of the most breath-taking sailing arenas of the Mediterranean, in what became some of the most exhilarating four days of racing imaginable.
