How to get and stay motivated to study -Prevent distractions (quiet place, no phone) -Stay healthy (exercise and eat healthy) -Stay curious -Give yourself rewards -Cognitive defusion (accept temporary discomfort of studying for the sake of your deep values/goals) -Remember, this is for your future patients How to prevent and reduce anxiety: -Exercise and healthy diet -Support system -Don’t study in your bedroom -Trust in the process, trust in yourself Exam day tips -Don’t change your routine -Wear something comfortable and wear warm layers -Get to site early (an hour before the "exam start time" is optimal) -Walk in confident, trust that you know what you know -Breaks: Up to a total of 1 hour (45min+15min from tutorial) -A few deep breaths between 1-2 (in room) -5min between 2-3 (leave room) -10min between 3-4 (leave room) -25min between 4-5 (lunch) -10min between 5-6 (leave room) -5min between 6-7 (in room)
