Flying on PART of Alaska’s “Milk Run”

Alaska Airlines’ infamous milk run is also known as “the salmon/grocery run.” The milk run is short flights along the coast of southwest Alaska starting in either Anchorage or Seattle. There’s 6 types of milk runs, I flew on flight 65 which seems to the most popular since most AvGeeks such as QFS Aviation, iTripReport, Noel Phillips, etc. have done. Though I do promise everyone that I will do the full milk run again and of course make a video about it. The milk run has been a thing for years since the old school days, and since the start of the milk run until 2017, the milk run was operated by Alaska’s Boeing 737-400 Combi aircraft which was one of the most unique aircraft Alaska had in its fleet. Since the combi retired, milk run flights are usually on the 737-700 aircraft but also the 737-800 or 737-900/900ER for the other routes.
