Tuff Stuff Overland's Alpha 2 hardshell roof top tent makes a splash at Overland Expo PNW '22. Hailed as one of the best tents to run a fully enclosed ANNEX, we stopped by their booth to see it for ourselves. They didn't have the annex up, but we got a full explanation of how the Alpha II looks and performs. We learned about their interior and exterior light features, it's reliability in wet conditions, the skylight, and all weather attachments. This one was a 49" width, which is a great size for smaller SUV's. It also comes in 55". The hard shell is aero dynamic, and varies between 10" - 14" on height. Overall, it's a good looking tent, the exterior lighting is cool, and with that skylight feature, you get an extra window. Forgot to ask how much the all weather attachment costs, but the tent is meant to be a "4 Seasons" roof top tent when you add the "quilt style" liner.
