Meet Aleksandrs Kolosovskis aka Robot Malysh - pioneer of Latvian hip hop culture and my first Breakdance teacher. He was one of the Popping aka Electric boogie greats back in USSR times and still dancing !! It is always nice to meet people who you have not seen for 10+ years especially if they somehow inspired you in past and helped you to become a good dancer. So me and my wife to be Samantha Hemstock went back home to Latvia to see family and managed to catch up with Malysh at his shop •Tribal.lv / Shop Fo'Life• (LV,Riga,Tallinas 62) where he sells hip hop clothing and spray paints for graffiti artists all around the baltic. We recalled some good old dance life memories and he showed off his new BoomBox playing dubstep. We got all excited about this dubstep track and danced . No choreo just pure freestyle popping.
