"I know there are bad men in power and the world is not an equitable place — but you can’t throw morality in the garbage just because life’s tough!” - Superman I can still remember the first time I heard the main theme to Man of Steel. Hans Zimmer managed to show me just how powerful music could be with just one theme. "An Idea of Hope" was the piece of music that sparked my passion for soundtrack music. I also have a great love for the original Superman theme by John Williams. It was everything that Superman stood for all summed up in a single Orchestral piece. Even though I enjoyed Batman more as I grew up, I still have a lot of Nostalgia and love for Superman. He's still my second favorite DC hero. Batman is a force of nature who fights Criminals. But Superman stands for something that people can rally behind. He is meant to represent what everyone on earth should be. The music behind his character has always been so special to me and mixing both of these pieces felt like a part of my childhood coming full circle. This music inspired me as a kid to create music that is equally inspiring. I'm doing my best to pursue that dream. But then again, I'm just a kid from Kansas, trying to do the right thing.
