The NYPD escort a large convoy of motorcycles, emergency vehicles and volunteer units as the 9/11 Memorial "Run for Richie" Motorcycle Parade passes through Manhattan. The ride is in honor of Richard Allen Pearlman, the youngest First Responder to die on September 11th, 2001. Forest Hills Volunteer Ambulance Corps: https://www.fhvac.org/ On Saturday, September 21st, thousands of motorcycles received a police escort from the New York Police Department's Highway Patrol. The event was organised by the New York City Punishers Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club on behalf of the Forest Hills Volunteer Ambulance Corps. Several of their ambulances can be seen throughout, in addition to privately operated vehicles with siren and lights. All of this was in honor of the thousands who perished on 9/11, including Richard Allen Pearlman, the youngest First Responder to die at the age of 18 on September 11th, 2001. He was a member of the Forest Hills Volunteer Ambulance Corps, having joined at the age of 14. On that day he responded to the World Trade Center by foot, from his workplace, to assist the injured.
