In this video, I have a special guest and we take a look at the product and discuss if it still has the features and functionality that guitar players need. We'll also discuss whether or not it's still a good buy. The Helix first came out in 2015 but has seen many firmware updates including the recent 3.70. Its features have surprisingly kept pace over the years with many new amp models and effects, dynamic cab IRs and routing options that inspired a whole generation of amp modelers. Also, with its extensive IO and USB connectivity it is an excellent Recording HUB for your home studio serving your audio interface needs. And it is also a great re-amp[ing device. But, its hardware has not been updated since 2015. Is it time for Line 6 to launch a new flagship modeler or can the Helix still compete in 2024?
