How To Identify Fake SRAM Rotors!

A quick, informal video showing how to spot fake SRAM rotors you may encounter on websites such as eBay or Amazon. These fakes are clearly of lesser quality and the sellers of them should not be supported - buy from your LBS when you can! A few things to look for: 1. Shipping says from US warehouse, but the item takes more than a week to arrive AND there may be a shipping label from Asia underneath the shipping label they use to mail it to you. 2. Weight may be off - I found that the fakes were 4 grams per rotor lighter. 3. Finishing on the text - the text around the rotor will usually be poorly centered and of a different font than the genuine rotors. The SRAM logo should be filled in, whereas on the fake (at least my fake) it was only outlined. 4. Cooling vents will be larger - the fake has larger, less precise cooling vents and holes. 5. Edge finishing - maybe the most glaring issue. The edges on the fake were not machined at all and very rough to the touch (and visibly rough too). 6. Price is too good - I paid $16 each for my fake ones, but they retail for $25-30 for genuine ones.
