20 Min LEG WORKOUT | Bulgarian Split Squats / Lunges - Lower Body

Bulgarian Split squats.. definitely one of my favourites! Great way to make bodyweight lunges that bit more challenging for this 20 min leg workout! This lower body workout with hit those quads, hamstrings, glutes and core! We will work through variations of the Bulgarian Split squat including different tempos, isometric holds, plyo movements and varied foot stances to complete a solid leg workout! The timer is on for 45 seconds of work and 15 seconds rest before moving onto the next exercise. This is technically no repeat however what we do on one leg we have to do on the other! BULGARIAN LUNGE BULGARIAN LUNGE (switch leg) PULSES PULSES (switch leg) HOLD HOLD (switch leg) SLOW ECCENTRIC SLOW ECCENTRIC (switch leg) SLOW RISE SLOW RISE (switch leg) HOPS HOPS (switch leg) JUMPS JUMPS (switch leg) DEAD STOP DEAD STOP (switch leg) FOOT CLOSER FOOT CLOSER (switch leg) LEAN FORWARD LEAN FORWARD (switch leg) Please ensure you warm up for at least 5 minutes prior to beginning. Ease into the movements gently and allow your body to get used to the movement. With the hops and jumps, try to land as softly as possible. Of course you can leave out the jumps/hops if you prefer! I hope you all enjoy this workout.. I absolutely love these exercises to really add strength, endurance and muscle to my legs! Have fun!!
