You to can find the guitar amp settings for the tone or tones you want. It takes time and a little bit of hunting around at first but once you see how to do it. You can make a note of the settings you like for the future. This is a very important step so make sure you write it down somewhere. Time spent learning how to do this now will save you many hours later. We start by finding the clean tone so you know your base line and what the guitar sounds like with no distortion or reverb and then we go on to find the tones that you want for the songs that you want to play and eventually your own sound. The HB-20R has a spring reverb which gives an incredible amount of options when playing. You can make it sound like you are in a huge hall or a church. It's a very impressive feature of this amp. In this video we look for the progressive rock tone and sound of David Gilmour's iconic 4 note guitar phrase on the track Shine on you crazy diamonds. It takes some time to find those tones so you have to give yourself enough time to find the tones you need to play a particular tune. Using the added functionality of the tone controls on your guitar will greatly increase your options. This is the way we dial into the electric guitar tones that you want from the amplifier.
