Chicago is known for a number of things: Italian Beef, The Chicago Dog, Deep Dish, The Cubs, The Bear(s)... the list goes on. One lesser known thing that the Windy City is known for is Mexican food. Starting in the early 1900s, immigrants moved to Chicago from all over Mexico in search of work. What followed was a colorful, thriving and diverse array of Mexican-owned taco joints specializing in every regional taco you can imagine. You don’t need to look hard to find a good taco in Chicago, but lucky for us Chef and Taco Expert (literally) Jonathan Zaragoza is here to show us around.
