Caran d’Ache Neocolor II | Camilla d’Errico Mermaids Coloring Book | Journal Flip

Hello lovelies! I hope you all had a wonderful Valentine’s Day! I know we did… sort of… LOL I wanted to have a calm evening of coloring and thought it’d be fun to pull out the Caran D’Ache Neocolor II water soluble crayons! I haven’t played with these in so long and I remember I used to love them! They were one of my bigger purchases when I started getting back into traditional art and they helped me get more comfortable with watercolors and inks. I hope I still enjoy them! Let’s find out together! UPDATE: After trying the Neocolors I realized the paper isn’t very absorbent and they were smearing on top of the paper so I switched to my Jane Davenport Marzipan Twists to smooth things out a bit. 🧡 The snack is Vanden Bulcke Easter eggs from Belgium! ^_^
