After we visited the Sheikh Karimul Makhdum Mosque on Simunul Island, we went to Sangay Siapuh Beach Resort. It is actually closed for restoration since some parts of the resort were destroyed by a typhoon. Our tour guide told us that they usually open the resort to accommodate tourists who want to visit it. It's my first time here even if I've been to Tawi-Tawi several times and to say that the beach resort is beautiful is an understatement! It is beyond any words that I can describe. It's a breathtaking paradise! It has mesmerizing crystal-clear and turquoise waters in the middle of the sea. There's also a fish pond in the center with plenty of gigantic fish from different species. Just don't forget to bring your hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, and plenty of water because it's scorchingly hot.
