You have to time your units pretty precisely. Dr. Nova is a pretty scary boss that can do attacks that deal 99,999 dmg and also with the new ability explosion. The only weakness she has is her blindspot, and we're using that to do this strategy! Explosion is an ability that when you attack, the attack also spreads to two different directions, left and right. This is how Dr. Nova covers her weakness since the attack actually goes to their blindspot resulting killing most the units that was in her blindspot. But like wave and surge, this explosion doesn't happen either when the attack doesn't hit any units! So what you have to do is use low range and speedy units to let them in her blindspot and constantly damage her to death. Cone is a good speedy meatsheild that can protect the attackers from peons, royal gurad is a fast massive damage attacker who can deal constant high damage to nova and also bounce off the relic peons(however I only recommend spawning him only once at the beginning since he's not too fast), courier can deal with those pesky bunnies, and jelly pudding is generally good for sniping out the peons. During the battle, keep spawning only courier and slime with the timing of her attacks, especially when she finished one. And when you have enough money, spawn idi, and I HIGHLY recommend bringing true form idi since she damages shit amount of dmg to nova when tfed. After this, idi and your units will constantly dmg nova and you'll eventually kill her. After that, just spam everything and win! Also I used reseach m + defense up s combo for this, I'm not sure defense combo affected the game but the og strat video only uses research m so you can just use biobone for this. Just remember that you might have to time your units very precisely(main reason why I restarted many times)I highly recommend just to replicate the timing how the og video did Also yes I think rich cat is required for this
