Much like with 'Adventure', my first exposure to the casino theme from Dragon Quest IV was in Fortune Street by way of the "Arcade" space (mostly Slurpodrome), and it's catchy enough to get stuck in my head for days on end. I actually wasn't gonna cover this initially, but then I looked ahead in my schedule and saw that this was a Friday the 13th, and I figured I had to do it at some point. Also, I decided to experiment with having the first part of the melody layered twice in different fine tunes to create a ragtime piano effect (similar to how SMB2 does it), and I think it turned out well. Since there's two versions with different pitches I couldn't really decide which one I liked more. I went with the key of C like in the NES version since that's first in the .nsf anyway, but I also kinda liked the one in the key of F?
