So you have Garmin in the Cirrus but the Perspective+ variety. Then you have the FAA approach plates and Jeppesen plates if you like those charts. All-in there are 8 databases and of course they don't update at the same frequency. And in most cases you have to update manually with an SD Card. So this is a challenge for Cirrus owners who like to have their databases current (like me). My process is described in this video and is pretty easy to implement. The challenges begin when you update database out of sequence - then it's a real mess. So If you can stay away from that you are likely in good shape.
