Besson - The Legend Lives On, The National BB Championships 2006
This video was commissioned by Buffet Crampon as a backstage view of the 2006 National Brass Band Championships held at the Royal Albert Hall, London. This was the year that the Besson brand was re-launched following the purchase of the company by Buffet Crampon. Steven Mead narrates the video with interviews from many famous musicians, sadly some of them no longer with us. The drama and energy of the day is contesting is captured well, complete with the announcement of the results and onstage celebrations by the winning band, Grimethorpe Colliery.
