The Bennett Railroad- Let's Run Trains!

First off- Happy New Year to everyone! I hope everyone had a very peaceful holiday, and let's hope 2022 is better than the last two crappy years! For this video we have a little fun- running a couple new locomotives. As a Christmas gift to myself I purchased a Broadway Limited Reading T1 4-8-4. Those that have been with the channel for a while know my Dad was a huge Reading fan. In his honor I wanted to have a T1- he loved the T1s and rode on many of the Reading Iron Horse Rambles. This is for you Dad- I miss you! The other loco is a Trix New York Central H6a 2-8-2 Mikado. I stripped the unit down and did a LOT of work on it- look for a separate video covering this work. I used an ESU LokSound 5 DCC Direct w/Power Pack which has the new Nano decoder. And I even fired up the airbrush to weather it! I based the weathering on a color photo in the book "New York Central Steam in Color". Future videos will cover some scenery work and additional work "behind" the roundhouse in Eugene.
