Today I will be upgrading an old HP Compaq CQ71 laptop computer and install a fresh new copy of the Windows 10 Operating system. The hardware I am going to replace are: The Hard disk drive HDD to an SSD from WalRam. I will upgrade the RAM from 2 1GB sticks to 2 2GB DDR2 Ram sticks 4GB in total. I will replace the not working laptop battery with a used battery that can charge up to 2 hours. And I bought a new HP power adapter brick since it came without an adapter. I used Snappy Driver Installer Origin for installing the drivers and I used ninite for installing all the free applications that I need to work with this laptop PC.
