I did DIY for my entire 6 day Korea trip and traveled solo. It wasn't bad for a first timer like me. 😅 South Korea is tourist friendly and very safe for solo female travelers. Food was great. Transportation sytem is seamless. I tried everything a first timer should! 😍 My favorite and the highlight of my trip was visiting Nami Island on my 35th birthday. I was an early bird and 6°C temp welcomed me in Gapyeong. It is one of the best places to visit on Fall if you are in South Korea. But the best timing would probably be on the last week of October to experience the peak. When I came there were still a lot of greens and Ginko trees weren't all yellow yet. There were maple trees, pines and metasequioa all over. It was just me and my trusty tripod 😂.
