This week Schony747 features the high tech Yarra Trams Survey Tram here in Melbourne. Every 6 months the tram runs around at night collecting valuable track, overhead and platform data which is then used to prioritise repairs and upgrades across the worlds biggest operational tram network. B2 2096 tram is always used. The tram is transformed from a regular tram carrying passengers to a high tech office with a few million dollars worth of equipment on board.
