In this video I wanted to show the tonal differences between the 37"-34" Multiscale and Standard 34" scale ESP LTD B-1005SE. The tonal differences are pretty dramatic due to both the contrasting tone woods and scale lengths. Both basses feature the exact same Nordstrand Big Split Pickups with the pre-amps bypassed and D'Addario .035-.095 & Kalium .160 strings. I also show off the difference between the Neural DSP Parallax plugin and the Darkglass X7 Pedal. Note the X7 tone is only the pedal with no cab sim and no additional FX, while the Parallax tone is using the built in noise gate and cab simulation.
