Dry Falls is a 75-foot waterfall in the Cullasaja Gorge, and it is one of the more fun/unique waterfalls in North Carolina. Although you cannot get in the water, it is one of the few waterfalls in the state that you can walk behind, which is an incredible experience with the amount of water flowing over Dry Falls. It is located off of US Highway 64 outside of Highland, NC, and just down the road from Bridal Veil Falls. The Falls are a short distance from the designated parking lot, so this is an attraction that can be enjoyed by just about everyone. Keep in mind it gets really busy around the Falls during the middle of the day, and parking your vehicle to see the Falls costs a small fee.
