Lotus roots stir fry is one of my favorite Chinese dishes of all time, also popular Chinese food. You might not know, but lotus roots have been used in Chinese medicine for thousands of years because this special plant is full of nutrients and minerals. One of the healthiest Chinese food out there. This lotus root stir fry recipe is VERY spicy, for a less spicier recipe take out all the seeds from each chili. For non spicy, you can substitute chilis with red and green bell peppers. The amount of Sichuan bean paste used should not be enough to influence the spicy level, but you can always leave it out or use less of it.
