CUSTOM Minky Baby Blanket using Brother PE800 | Embroidery Tutorial | Baby Blanket Tutorial

In today's video, I am doing just a quick tutorial on a custom minky baby blanket that I had an order for. Each minky piece was 27 inches by 36 inches and I used a 1/2 inch seam allowance. This gave me a 26x34 inch blanket when it was finished. I used my Brother PE800 to embroider the name with a dark gray satin thread. - - - - - - Supplies Used: Fabric- I used minky for both sides of this blanket. I used A LOT of pins to keep the minky in place when sewing. Make sure you watch the video to see how I pin mine. Hopefully I will have these exact fabrics soon, but I hope you check out what I have now :) Stabilizer- I used Tear Away Stabilizer on the back and Water Soluble Stabilizer on the top when I embroidered the name. Basting Adhesive- To float the fabric on the hoop when I embroidered the name.
