Pacific Raceways Circuit Race - Sept 4th, 2024 - 45+ and Women: Final Race of the 2024 series
Going into this race I was tied with one other rider for 6th place and 1 point out of 5th place. They do the "wide angle" podium, 5 deep, for the overall series. Points are scored throughout the season for 1st thru 5th place (1st = 5pts, 2nd = 4 pts, etc.). You can also get points by winning a prime lap (1 point) and just showing up, 1 point for participation. 1st - 4th places were basically sown up so really only 5th place was in play tonight, beyond just wanting to win the individual race.
