Grandparents Day Celebration of Pre-Primary at Amity International School, Navi Mumbai

Amity International School, Navi Mumbai, acknowledges the vital role that grandparents play as custodians of family values, traditions, and cultural heritage. Through their wisdom and guidance, they pass down customs and rituals, enriching the sense of identity and belonging in the younger generation. To honour this significant role, the school organised a special Grandparents Day event on 6th September 2024, in the Pre-Primary section. The event commenced with a warm welcome as grandparents were greeted by their grandchildren and teachers upon arrival. The day’s program featured a variety of engaging activities, including performances by students such as songs, poems, and skits, all dedicated to expressing gratitude and love for their grandparents. Students also presented handmade cards as tokens of appreciation, symbolizing their affection and respect. A special assembly provided a platform for sharing stories and reflections on the invaluable influence of grandparents in shaping their grandchildren's lives. The event was a heartfelt tribute to the enduring bond between generations and the rich legacy grandparents impart to their families.
