Collecting Big Crowns! 🇬🇧 Lets now take a look at the gorgeous British Half Crowns. These coins were issued for many many years, spanning several centuries and monarchs. This first video will give you a brief introduction and outline of all the coins issued with the effigy of Queen Elizabeth II. They were minted between 1953 and 1970, representing the final series of Half Crowns for the United Kingdom. This was probably the easiest series for me to complete and I will follow this series with an upcoming video reviewing the coins bearing the portrait of King George VI, these being the second last series of Half Crowns and the final series to feature silver coins. More information of all these coins can be sourced online and I would like to apologize to seasoned collectors of British coinage for any errors I may have made when reviewing these coins.
