🌹 Painting a Rose in Watercolor 🌹 In this video, I’m giving a brief overview of the process I followed to paint a beautiful rose using watercolors. Whether you're a total beginner or have some experience painting flowers, this mini class will give you key steps you can use to create depth and detail in your own rose painting. Because this particular rose is in the stages of opening from bud to bloom, there aren't many petals showing. So this project is perfect if you've always wanted to paint a rose but haven’t felt ready. It’s manageable, with just enough complexity to challenge you while still being achievable whatever your experience level. I’m working on 9 x 12 inch (23 x 31 cm) paper, but feel free to go larger if you want to capture even more details—just keep in mind that larger projects may take longer to finish.
