ZOOCHOSIS | Full Game Walkthrough | No Commentary

Zoochosis is one of the most anticipated horror games of 2024 and it is finally out. The first trailer promised a very original take on the horror genre as we get to play a role as a zoo staff member and get to take care of various animals including giraffes, zebras, penguins and more. But something is lurking in the shadows and it seems that many of the animals have been infected with some sort of monstrous creature. They start to show various symptoms and eventually even mutate into a giant behemoth straight out of The Thing. It is up to us to discover what the symptoms are and diagnose what sort of antidote to give them so that they can recover. You do this by using vaious gadgets to measure their temperature, sound etc. In that regard it has a similar feel to Phasmophobia, but in a much cuter setting. The animals look really good with great models and awesome animations. You can even pet them and every time I stepped into a new zone I was amazed by how great they looked. The real highlight of the game is how many secrets there are to find. There are quite a few endings to get and they all vary depending on the choices that you make. And even a small choice can have big consequences like picking up a phone or ignoring given orders. There is so much to discover and it offers great replay value as you find new ways to tackle the challenges that lay in wait.
